Good Evening Everyone! Thank you for the continuing support. I just want to let people know that I do track the vast majority of my food each day. Now you may notice the calories are low, but that is mainly due to following a low carb plan. I would like to stress its not designed as strict as keto, but mainly low carb, healthy fats. I have also done research on the Carnivore diet and although I would love to increase my protein and reduce the leafy greens, I just do not feel it is the right meal plan for me.

So, far so good. Last week I was ill on Wednesday and Thursday, so hoping this week I will maintain the same weight loss as last. But either way, no pressure. I am on this journey for health and understand its a marathon, not a sprint.

For exercise, I am sticking to moderate walking. I try and go out from a minimum of 30 mins a twice a day (Morning before work and Evening after dinner). By doing the extra walking I have had great success in much more deeper and longer sleeping habits.

Look forward to the future.

Take care!

I'm a low-carber at heart, trying to keep my carbs under 50g a day so I understand exactly what you are saying. When I originally started my journey however many years ago, I too found that Keto was too restrictive at the time but my mind or rather my emotional state wasn't in sync with what my logical mind was thinking, if that makes sense. It sounds like you have a sound plan for yourself. And don't worry about the calories especially being low-carb. You are better off, IMO, to follow your macro's to ensure your are reaching your Fat/Protein to Carb ratio. Look for the pie chart on your Food Diary at the bottom. It does help ;)

Since I am a type 2, my biggest indicator is my daily blood sugar levels. I have dropped them down to 4.8 to 5.6 on average. My last A1C1 before I started I was a 9.0. So, I am sure that is going to improve. My greatest concern is always hydration and fibre content. Chia seeds and lots of water help in that regard, but its something low carb followers must be aware of at all time.
