So much this. I fall into depressive episodes occasionally and what I've found to help is to just let it happen. I don't fight it or try to force my way through to the other side. I be kind to myself and do the bare minimum for a while. Slowly that starts to be more, and before I know it I'm out. Just be kind. Your best will look different on different days for many reasons!
