just remember...all clothing sizes vary so much. I bought 2 pants exact same size, brand and style. I tried on one pair and they were perfect. when I got home I put on the other pair...didn't fit. so frustrating. don't let this get you down..just keep working your plan.

Woman's clothing sizes are super frustrating especially the jump between sizes above a 12. I recently had to explain to my s/o as to why some of my clothes are super baggy(current size) and some little snug (next size down I can't fit). It seems in past when lost weight I would have to drop 30lbs to fully be in the next size down. While people I knew in smaller sizes could do so ever 10 or 15lbs.

It's not you, it's cheap manufacturers using cheap labor and fabric. I never get rid of my old pants because I'm allergic to latex/spandex and have a 33 3/4" inseam just to get ankle length. I squirrel them away in cedar chest and suit cases. Tell me 1 time you saw a women's tall section. But every store has huge petite sections! They should be sized like mens, am I right?
😡🤬

I order a lot on line and even when you follow size gauge it can be different...I'm sorry this happened to you!💜

I hate that too girl!! We all feel your struggle. Sometimes I am a 10 and sometimes I am a 12. If they just measured the waist like in mens pants it would be very helpful.

One brand I have used in the past, when I wore jeans, was Gloria Vanderbuilt. She was always true to size.

I shop at thrift stores and consignment shops to buy clothes, let them soak overnight in the washing machine.
I love bargains.

It takes time. Keep those jeans in your closet and in a few months, try them on again. It’s crazy how our bodies change slowly. You got this!

That happened the last time I ordered from Old Navy. I bought 4 pairs of jeans, all in the same style but in different colors. Two fit like a dream and the other two were huge on me. :(

I understand your frustration with sizing. I have several different sizes in my closet right now. 🤔

Ladies, THANK YOU! I am so glad I found the support section of your app!
I feel so alone with some of these struggles. I work to much to have many friends. Hubby tries, but he has no clue what I'm going through. Women's clothes and sizing are horrible!
The support and understanding means so much. Thank you!

Women's sizing is crazy. I, too, have bought 2 different color pants in the same size. One fit and the other one didn't. Go figure!!

The hazards of buying online. Manufactures send much of their work to several different countries, ie Bangladesh, Viet Nam, Mexico, the Philippines. Material may not be the same, quality may not be the same, sizing, etc. send it back (AMAZON) ? Don’t take it personally. Try to actually shop in a store if possible where you can try. Things on.

Agreed! I shopped new clothes (Marshall’s) AND used clothes at the Goodwill. I couldn’t afford ALL new clothes! The new clothes were a way different size than Goodwill. I managed to figure it out, but it took a lot of time and trying on a lot of different sizes 🙄
Hope you feel better soon! Prayers!!

@jessie0239 YES! I almost can't justify spending paying full price for clothes after shopping thrift stores for so long! It has to be a really good sale for me to shop retail.

I have the world’s best Goodwill close to my house so I drop in a couple times a week. I love the incredible deals I get on all sorts of stuff. I love the challenge. My big score is buying snow and ski clothes for a friend and her family who live in the cold north and they are big skiers. So many here just donate brand new ski clothes as soon as they finish the season. These are EXPENSIVE clothes that I know cost a lot and they might still have the ski lift tickets from just days before still fastened to their pants. My friend has 4 kids— she gives me their current sizes and measurements and I shop for stuff and send it to her. I have bought coats and snow pants for them all for about a hundred dollars a number of times. I bought a whole 3 piece set of matching luggage that was brand new and had just returned from a cruise with the tags still on them. 15$ for the big one $10 for the medium and $5 for the carryon—- Samsonite.

Goodwill can have some good clothes. I’ve gotten where I don’t but online because they never fit right. I do get some clothing at like TJMax if I see something because they’re cheaper as well as Rosses and Marshals! Hang in there!!
