Today I will make a list of daily goals to care for myself to get my strength back by getting up and move for 10 minutes every 2 hours. Having gout episodes has keep me off my feet on and off for over a month. It will take effort or discipline on my part, but I desire to be stronger. I will be patient with myself and know it takes time, I know Rome was not built in a day.

Patience and acceptance are important. Good start!

That's a great goal. Caring for yourself and being kind to yourself are a good start. Sometimes we just have to start by moving. I was always an active person, until I got so ill, then I had to start right where you are now.

I think you are moving in the right direction. I like the moving ever 2 hours evening with my bad back that might work for me I'll have to see what the Dr says tomorrow thanks for the idea. Maybe I'll be able to give you one soon. Helping each other is so good on this site.

Baby steps are good! Goals are good. I found myself lazy this weekend, looking back at it I had not set myself goals, so I didn't get much done, piddled around rather aimlessly most of the time.
