Unless I'm eating (say for example) a pound bag of baby carrots--I don't. But I do count calories from fruit.

Count everything including veggies and sauces (they have a lot of hidden sodium and some calories).

I count everything--I find it helps to keep the integrity of my food journal, reporting all of the good and all of the bad equally.

Every single gram of everything I eat - even when I don't want to admit that I've eaten something "forbidden". Makes it much easier to track trends when all data is available.

I have counted them always.. but I had friends question me as to why they would count towards my calorie intake. I explained that veggies have calories too, but they think that since they are vegetables, they shouldn't count

I log everything including water - and because I am doing a low carb program, the veggies are counted because they have carbs!
|
I too log everything. You still get calories out of them weather you log them or not. It just gives you a better picture of what you have actually consumed. Also you can feel happy when you look at your diary and see all the good you have eaten as well as the bad

of course you count them. if you want to know what exactly your eating and need to know your calories and what food they are coming from. why would anyone not count them ?

I log all my food, except when I under the weather with a bad cold or flu. That is my only exception.
