Im on another work trip - but this time I’m taking proactive steps (per the advice of my FS helpers) to prevent catastrophe. I went to Walmart tonight and bought protein bars, water, dry oatmeal, bananas, apples - even a tiny bag of walnuts for the oatmeal!
With all this I can make it to lunch (plus healthy snacks). Then I’ll head to Panera for a healthy salad (as much as possible) and maybe even return for dinner.
My plan last time exploded the first morning when the gas station I intended to visit to buy an oatmeal cup and banana ended up being closed - resulting in me scavenging for the “healthiest option” in the office vending machine.
