Looks delicious but such a small amount of food. Limiting your calories too severely only sets you up for failure. Your body will adjust to eating a limited amount and you will be stuck there forever.

Looks like a well portioned meal and a delicious one as well.

Lisa Hahn,. Not limiting my food at all. The fact is we actually eat 4 meals with the last one at 9pm. If we have a higher calorie dinner then we would only have 3 meals.
Not everyone's thing but it works for us. Not setting myself up for failure, I assure you. Everyone is different.

Ah, your sweet potatoes 😊 I never understood smothering then in sugar and marshmallows at Thanksgiving. They taste like candy as is 😋 Especially cut into chunks and roasted -- I made a pan of those yesterday

writingwyo, I agree - I cook several in the Instant pot with just some water. They are soft, sweet and yummy with nothing else added. I do roast my sweet potato fries and that brings out the sweetness too.

I think it has to do with sugar addicts' need to elevate the sweetness for everything. Just like @Writingwyo, I just slice and eat them like a cookie. There is no need for butter or marshmallows. They cook pretty quickly in the microwave, too (5-6 minutes, flip over halfway through. Slice into coins and eat).
