Sugar Cat's Journal, 07 Apr 15

Ok, I'm really not complaining, because that would get me nowhere, buuuuut I have been sick, going on day 5. I don't think I have ever been sick for so long! It has really drained me, and I have zero motivation to eat right or exercise. I took one sick day last week, and I have been working through the yuckies ever since, although I'm not sure I should be around other people, in case I am contagious. Plus my voice sounds bad, and my cough sounds worse...actually it sounds disgusting.
Eating: Although I cannot smell or taste any food, I have been craving (and eating) "bad" foods. I think it comes down to a comfort thing for me.
Exercise: I have worked out a little--emphasis on little--I tend to wear out easily. Reason 1: I have not been drinking hardly ANY fluids (which is making my pee dark yellow/orange like Sunny Delight, but not nearly as tasty). Reason 2: The 'bad' foods I mentioned earlier.
Well that's enough blabbering for one entry. Be well, friends.

You need to drink fluids! Preferably water. The dark urine is a sign of dehydration and is not good. Please force your intake of fluids...even soup broth or sugar free popsicles will help.

Yes, I know you feel lousy and you can drink more water to help flush out the toxins. I know you can, YES you can do it!

Drink, drink, drink! Lemon water, hot or cold. Beef broth or chicken broth. Ginger tea. Any tea. Tea with lemon. Maybe some sport drink to replenish your electrolytes. Did I say to drink? A bad food (like, how bad?) is okay for now as long as you drink. Rest. Don't worry about working out - it's not good for you now. Listen to mother. Rest, drink and have some toast. Feel better.

Drink--water and tea, if you can. Eating is good, but try to eat healthy and if you have a craving, okay--take a set amount and keep it to that (if you can--LOL). Exercise--if you are sick, skip the exercise. Let your body recoop and if you feel you need to exercise, I would only walk, do nothing stenious.
