So I went and bought nuts so I could make mixed nuts or trail mix, whatever you want to call it, because everyone likes nuts and we go through them relatively quickly. I got pecans, peanuts, pistachios, almonds, cashews, sunflower and pepita kernels, and M&Ms.
Pictures to follow.
Now supposedly nuts are supposed to be a healthy filling snack, albeit high in calories. And after mixing everything together and calculating everything out each one of those bags is about 1822.5 grams and 11,175.5 calories. The picture of the 1/4 cup of nuts isn’t even a full 1/4 cup and it is 150 calories.
I really don’t think nuts are that filling. I mean that is 150 calories of almost nothing.
