The program is designed with the expectation that you will eat all of your points. If you do not, your body will think you are trying to starve yourself and store up the fat that you take in, which could cause you to gain weight. Sometimes if you don't eat all of your points, it's OK. I do it from time to time. But you should focus on eating all of your points daily. It's designed with your nutrition in mind.
