@Breezy -- yeah, but cargo pants were in style in the '90s when T2 came out. Or the movie (1991) popularized cargos. Chicken/egg. She was NOT girly, though! @Wyo: it's getting cold now anyway, so jackets with pockets help. I've also stashed keys in my bra "pocket."

@JB,Writingwy, small crossbody does the trick. Cell, keys, CC's, DL, lipstick. Coat goes right over it.

@Livin and Bananas - you undoubtedly know where I’m coming from. Confidence is the most attractive thing a person can have and everyone can see it.
Less girly than a purse or cross bag I’ve used a Fanny pack (that’s what it was called in my day) and where it across my shoulders. It’s a sportier look.

@anne @writing menopause ends?!? That’s good news cause it seems like I’ve had it for so long now. I hate the hot flashes. If only it meant my metabolism was also on over drive when they happened that would be great. And yes my fat has moved from my hips to my tummy too. I’m 3yrs into my menopause… I really hope you are right about it ending and my body being less of a challenge. It’s like a weird version of puberty.

@livin. The tree pose is one of those pics which I see and say I don’t look big in that picture but I swear in the mirror before I left I didnt look that way. I hide the extra pounds well sometime. Lollll

I have gained muscle since college so my ideal goal is in the 140's - this within the good range for my height. Good luck!

@abba unfortunately for me since I hit my 50s I’ve gained fat and lost muscle. My climbing and hiking has helped regain some muscle but it easily disappears if I don’t workout continuously. Also building muscle seems to have gotten harder I. Some areas than others.
