How does everyone count home made soups/chili etc? All my soups/chilli are weight watchers recipes so they are low in fat and sodium etc…I always search for food and just pick the one with the higher calories 🤷🏻‍♀️

I just enter the equivalent serving for each ingredient OR if it is something I make a lot, I enter it into the recipe section so I can pull it up more easily. I don’t like to use the existing entries since they are typically high in sodium and I track my sodium intake.

I do the same thing as karen. If it's something I repeat a lot, I'll actually add the recipe. Otherwise, it's kind of an estimate of each ingredient (1/2 cup black beans, 1/2 cup cooked kale, etc). Occasionally I'll just take whatever is available in the FS database, recognizing that some of the measures will be off.. Home cooked food is usually better for you -- or you can tweak recipes to make them better -- but they're harder to track. The important thing is to be honest about quantities to at least get it in the right ballpark

I calculate everything that was added to the mix, weigh entire thing when finished and divide.
