This may be the only place I will post this but today one of the few true loves of my life got engaged...my heart will never be the same. I know it would have never worked between us but for someone like me, who doesn't love or feel much, its truly heart breaking.

I have been where you are, and I can say in all honesty ( HONESTLY) there is someone out there who deserves you. And you will deserve them. And you will be truly, truly happy. It will mean more for the heartache.
I know this, because it happened to me. It isn't bs. It isn't me trying to cheer you up ( though I am...) It is the truth.

sorry to hear :( I hope that the knowledge that it'd never work between you two will help you to get over it. I know for sure that once you find your own personal happiness with someone else, you won't care about past loves as much, even about very strong and passionate one. You'll still care, but it won't hurt you as much that they too move on with their lives.
