I wanna see a kung fu panda, too. Then, I want to see a unicorn, a chimera, and a prehistoric lizard-creature fond of attacking Japan and answering to the name 呉爾羅. *pout*

I'd go to the zoo a lot more often if Gojira were there. I'd even settle for Godzuki. ;)

Randomness2) I went to Subway for lunch and got the veggie delight sammich. Now I have a line from the Clay Henry song stuck in my head that Subway came out with years ago to sell sammiches. //Gets his might from his veggie delight, Great tastes each day from his local Subway// It's just looping over and over and over...

What about running in the evenings when it's cooler?

Evenings!?! But that's when all the scary gang bangers are... gang banging! LOL It's hard for me to sleep if I work out late, plus I like to eat after I run (refuel) and I'm still paranoid about eating too soon before bed. I'm already running until about 6:30PM, but it's STILL freaking hot. The heat still radiates from the concrete even after the sun sets. That's why it's cooler at dawn than at dusk.

I don't have a treadmill or a gym membership, so I couldn't use one anyway. Right now I'm just trying to make sure to drink a lot of water (gatorade or similar on runs 5 miles or more) and use a lot of sunblock. I think I'm pretty much stuck with early morning runs if I want it cooler.

Yep, I feel ya on the running in the heat. It makes a 4 mile run feel like an 8 mile run-an 8 mile run seem like torture. Opt for the morning run if you can. Try it out on the weekends first to see if you can adapt. Then go from there. Personally, it's nice to feel the morning coolness while running, birds singing & chirping...and the squirrels zipping by you and watching you. Kinda like they're saying "You still can't out-run me punk!"

You must be in excellent physical condition overall to be able to do all of that.
