Covid is once again on the rise for its winter run. Read all about it. For those who are VACCINATED, the expectations are of a mild to miserable usual cold/flu symptoms with lingering cough. Communicability time is about 3 days for this b5 variation. I can’t speak to Covid for unvaccinated people because I don’t follow those details. Anyway, read about it if you are interested. The vaccine is here for those who want it. Remember, the purpose of the vaccine is to prevent you from dying and from becoming a long Covid victim. My sister has long Covid and is allergic to the vaccine after two doses. I’m scheduled to go to luncheon meeting today at a restaurant. Normally I will just eat at home before I go, my usual lunch., then have coffee, maybe split a desert with someone. I do not feel compelled to eat food that I do not want to eat. If I would not go to a certain place on my own to eat, I am not going to eat there just because the place has been pre selected. It makes people “uncomfortable”, but that is their problem, not mine.

Long haulers is a horrible ordeal. I went through it early and came out the other side. I had the neurological problems. Horrible vertigo. Forgot how to type and use a computer. No vaccine when I got covid and covid is worse now. Can't imagine that. As a retired critical care nurse I tend to think those who choose not to vaccinate have a death wish.

Sister got Covid in November of 2019. She had ALL of the comorbidities. There will be no getting better for her. Very sad.
