TREEDLE's Journal, 02 Mar 15

well, day 2 of the health kick and I am feeling really positive.

I am trying not to snack as much as possible buthubby just baked a red velevet cake! yummy but will have to ration myself to stay on track. I really should get back to my Yogalates DVD but having hubby here every day now is restricting to say the least! Still I still have my little part time job to keep me active.

Good luck everyone with your diets this week!

The secret is simply do not give in to temptation. Oh I know it is easier said than done but it is still the secret never the less. Give in once and you are sunk for ever because all you will end up saying is the same as all the rest of the failures on FS and that is "I will catch up tomorrow" or a similar phrase. The truth is you just can’t catch up what is lost today is lost forever. Let dear hubby bake as many cakes as he likes I bet he does not force it into your mouth ! only you do that so blaming him is really a cop out. Now I know this comment is blunt and I could have used some flowery words but the message is still the same “little pickers wear big knickers” and the choice is always yours. I see your weight history is more red arrows than green which is not good at all so you need to change that and I am sure you know that already. You need a high input of The Will To Win !! “If you think you are beaten, you are; If you think you dare not, you don't. If you'd like to win, but think you can't It's almost a cinch you won't. If you think you'll lose, you've lost, For out in the world we find Success being with a fellow's will; It's all in the state of mind. If you think you're outclassed, you are: You've got to think high to rise. You've got to be sure of yourself before You can ever win a prize. Life's battles don't always go To the stronger or faster man, But soon or later the man who wins Is the one who thinks he can.”

Everything in moderation is the secret.. U want something u bloody well have it ☺️ and enjoy it.. Don't do it every day and you'll be fine.. I disagree u can indeed catch up I have plenty pf times, im pretty much proof of that! Well in my case I have, everyone is different.. Good luck and enjoy don't stress.. Stress is the worse! I've worked that out the hard way x

So please explain how this “catch up” works. Are you saying that if I put on half a kilo today and then lose it tomorrow then I have caught up ? If this is your thinking then I believe it is flawed because if I can lose half a kilo the next day and not put it on in the first place then I would have lost a full kilo over the two days not just the half. So, I believe that it can be never be caught up ever what is lost today is lost fore ever. Sorry.! I also believe firmly in your statement of “U want something u bloody well have it ☺️ and enjoy it” just as long as you don’t blame someone else for making it in the first place. Sorry again lol

If I put on a lb one week, which I have done and the next week I lost three I would certainly still include the one I gained so I made it up, it's quite simple really, it doesn't matter if you disagree or not. I'm not here to explain my diet or my way of thinking.. Just pure fat loss end of.. result? Indeed, have I stopped myself from eating what I want? Yes but if I really want it I will but in MODERATION!! No please don't apploisge lol everyone is different.. I won't deprive myself..if I want choc crisps or a pizza I will/have..I noticed on my diets before where I was going wrong by cutting everything out and in the end I gave up, resulting in weightloss stopping and going back on and more. also I have never blamed anyone else neither should anyone else.. As the saying goes.. each to their own, I was simply giving my advice as were you :)
