Got a new scale. It measures body fat, water, muscle and bone. It says I weigh 2 pounds less than the old scale says so I took the average of the two. Gotta get serious starting today. I had a plan to lose weight by the end of the year, get into the 140's That is "only" 15 pounds or so but the longer I put off getting serious the less likely it will happen.
Currently 33.3% = 54 pounds body fat, 25 pounds muscle Goal is 25% = 40 pounds body fat, 25 pounds muscle.
Getting serious means: no alcohol, no fried food. No bread and butter with meals. I am going to start with those 3 adjustments.
Recently realized that I have lost some sense of taste maybe from age, maybe from Covid that I had at Christmas. Overall need to be slightly hungry when I eat, not starving, and that makes things taste better.
Tomorrow is a new month. My mom reminded me to say "rabbit, rabbit" tomorrow morning!
