I gave up many foods that have heavy fat in them, and lowered my sugar intake. I thought that giving all of that up would be hard, but in fact I don't miss those items much at all. I've now realized that there are so many foods that I had dismissed for too long. I'm having fun coming up with interesting recipes and resisting the "office food" that my co-workers share. I just thank them but politely say "no thank you." I've felt better in the long run. I hope someday to be at 125lbs. this is what I weighed 14 years ago before I had my son. It's funny when I mention that "I haven't lost the "baby weight"" people ask me how old the "baby" is.. I have to tell them "14" LOL.
