Pretty much changed my diet up today after watching the movie Fat Head last night. It was amazing to realize that a lot fat / high carb diet was never proven to really help you lose weight.

I've switched to eating a lot more fat / protein and way less carbs. I hadn't been looking at the carbs in the food I was eating but was blown away when I looked at my "healthy" choices I was making.

As of 6:45, only have my snack left, I'm at the following...
2040 calories / 79g Fat / 131g Carbs / 206g Protein

I've actually felt much better today already. I did a lot of exercise and was nowhere near as worn out as I usually am. I think I might like this. :-)

Good choice! I've been eating lower carb for a month and let me tell you - the hunger is never a problem anymore! And since there are no more "carb coma" after eating - energy level stays up at all times. Just make sure that your protein isn't just red meats, but also fish, nuts, greens. Lower carbs also means that you need to find healthier carb sources that provide enough vitamins and fiber (and that's usually veggies rather than sugar and grains)

Thanks for the tips. I felt so good today I walked over 11 miles, averaged over 4.5 mi/hr, and did my P90X workout. I get a lot of my protein from whey and other supplements as well that I usually take after my workouts. Love fish but need to add in more greens...that's a hard thing for me. Luckily I've gotten in the habit of taking a multivitamin. I also noticed I haven't been craving the crystal light in my water as much today as normal.
