Been in India for quite some time and started missing my European food so went to the market and started digging for the herbs needed to make food like in Europe. Dill is hard to find, and bay laurel leaves nowhere to be found...Those 2 are like the basic in all the recipes that I know. But adapting as much as possible. Mint, basil, cummins, fenel and others replace some of what i know from back home.

People seem to be really intrigued about these recipes. My mom in law asked : "what are those?" My husband said: just her salads. So not to mention I ordered from somebody a bucket of tarragon and another one of oregano so we will not run short of them in the future.

I miss my childhood and the delicious food of my grandma.
