I think I may have had a little too much fun yesterday 😳 I know some of this is water. Barbecue sandwiches, baked beans, Brunswick stew & coleslaw were served at the Graduation party....Banana pudding for dessert. I didn't have huge servings of anything. Then we went to our friend's house. There were an assortment of great appetizers including marinated cheese curds, figs & goat cheese on a cracker, pigs in a blanket (a kind of gourmet version) & more. Again, I didn't pig out but I had some of everything. And wine 🍷 🍷😊 I suppose after we got home we could have skipped dinner, but I suggested making a tenderloin sandwich for Hubby. That sounded good, so I made one for myself as well....and potato chips 😏
We were out of Bagels, so I made biscuits & eggs for breakfast today....with our customary side of fruit. I only had one biscuit & one egg. The calories were just slightly higher than usual.
We didn't eat lunch. We went to one of the Wineries close by & had 1 glass of wine (we usually order a bottle) this afternoon. We relaxed & listened to some music. We then went downtown. There is a place that often has music on Sundays but not this week....so we took a walk around the square instead. We weren't really hungry for dinner yet, so stopped & picked up Wings, onion rings & a salad to go. We had another glass of wine while we waited. After we got home we took took the dogs for a shortened walk. My calories were actually still in line at that point but I had a slice of the cheese cake we had picked up for dessert putting me over.
I still averaged right around the 1600 goal for week I had set, since I ate under that earlier in the week every day. Tomorrow it's back to 1600 or under. Hubby is on board for not having wine with dinner every night cause without any prompting he bought his own sparkling water & some limes to drink with dinner, today.
My kids, grandchildren & Hubby pampered me with gifts, cards, roses, phone calls & texts for Mother's Day. 😁
It was nice to get down in the blue again this week. 💙 Next week, I'll have to try to not blow it all on the weekend!
