Really late entry tonight, had a busy day. I was up on a roof of a house painting a widow's walk for about 4 hours today, great exercise and it was a beautiful day to be outside! I got a little sunburned but not too bad. I have another outside job lined up this week painting a porch, railings, pickets and shutters. So I'll get plenty of exercise and get paid for it too! I am truly amazed at how much easier it is for me to go up and down a ladder, I wasn't even winded and it was a 20 ft. extension ladder!
Anyway no ladders tomorrow, it's back to the gym for me. Wow two whole days and no visit to the gym just feels very strange! I got plenty of exercise via aforementioned painting and of course the ever present yard work, but it will be good to get back to my routine. good for the weight loss program and a great stress reliever too.
Unfortunately my BIL is not doing well at all, we are giving him as much pain medicine as he needs but that makes him sleep most of the time and he is not very coherent. His wound is horrible and has started to bleed and spread over the hip, they are probably going to come get him in the next day or so and take him to the Hospice House. It's very sad, but at least he's not in pain any more. I don't think he'll be with us a whole lot longer. One day at a time.
So I'm off to make my grocery list, going after I get done at the gym in the morning... so a trip to Publix also means time for me to hop on the scale!
Peace and blessings.
