Hello I'm new to this. My cousin got me to start using this app. I need to lose weight. 👍

While you are getting started you might consider the portions of the food you are eating, cut back on eating out in fast food and restaurant places, cut back on Pasta dishes and eating a lot of bread type products. Just take a serious, critical look at your current food choices and ask yourself if these foods are going to help or hinder you reaching your goal. Increase your activity level. It helps with weight loss, mood, depression and helps increase your energy level. Don’t look at this journey as a diet— it needs to be a lifestyle change or you will just keep repeating this same process over and over. Severe calorie restriction and food restriction does not work— deprivation does not work. Also, invest in yourself. Take a little time to learn about nutrition and what it takes to have a stable weight and to be as healthy as you can be. Best of luck. You can do this.

It’s been crucial for me to count calories on this app because I’m a big eater. I was WAY over eating. Eating at a calorie deficit (changed to low carb too and no refined sugar) and strength training and cardio a couple Xs a week has helped me to lose 24 pounds in 4 months. Good luck. But this app helps me! :)
