Gave up on pretty much everything, deep winter depression. Ate way too many cookies, weight went up, didn't care.
Time to start again. I've made a rule for myself of no food after 8 p.m., which helps with the emotional eating of cookies and chocolate. So we'll see how it goes.
76.2 kg Lost so far: 6.4 kg.    Still to go: 12.7 kg.    Diet followed: Reasonably Well.

All the best! Spring is just around the corner. It will help a lot of us. I’m anxious to see some increased hours of sunshine myself 😊

Absolutely. I saw my first daffodil of the season, like a little splash of sunshiney hope, on my lunch time walk on Thursday. It gave me that push I needed to get back on track and know that there are better days ahead.

So hard to sustain good choices. I can relate. After supper is the most tempting for me too. I had healthy fresh Pineapple dipped in chocolate last night. Yin Yang. Back on track today!

Me too mbeauchamp. Ever since my accident in October I have been slowly creeping back up. And winter doesn’t help. But hey, we did this before and we can do it again. Remember the successes. We can do this!

you got this man! if ever you're really hungry after 8pm and you know you just gotta eat. Try low cal jello (5 cal per serving), or steamed vegetables (broco/cauli) which you can eat in hugr quantities. set yourself up for success

I eat an apple every night at 8pm. I'm a evening eater too. My sis eats a bowl of oatmeal.

I love my sweets and I will have a chocolate bar once or twice a week. If I crave for something I find eating apple, berries, Chapman's Dutch chocolate yogurt or a tea with sweetener help me.

Thanks to all of you for your encouragement and suggestions. Unfortunately apples really don't agree with me. I like jello though, will look for the low cal version on my next shopping trip!

I take Vitamin D, especially during our long winters. It’s helped a lot with my seasonal depression. You got this!!! Spring is coming
