I realized that relying upon willpower and counting calories and exercise to lose weight was not sustainable. I couldn't exercise enough to offset a bad diet, and I couldn't imagine having to count calories and stress over food the rest of my life. I knew there had to be a better way. I'm an avid reader and definitely type "A" in that I get a bit obsessive about solving a problem. You can probably tell from my weight loss history that I made some significant changes in the spring. I honestly finally feel free from obsessing over the next meal or when to eat. Food used to fog my mind and I felt trapped by the choices. I have never felt better in my whole life and can finally see freedom ahead. I know I can sustain this for the rest of my life and be healthy.
All that said, I'd love to share with you what I'm doing if you're interested. It's not crazy but does take some initial discipline. I can honestly say, though, that it will put you on a path to better health if you're willing to commit.
If you're wondering why I don't just say - it's because I want to know who's interested and not just throw it out there to be misinterpreted or misconstrued. :) Let me know because I'd love to help!
