I can see the benefit of food management. I have only recently, thanks to this cite and my Mayo Clinic book, started to realize just how many calories a day I have been eating. I am grateful to programs like Cook Yourself Thin, that show us easy ways to eat yummy foods without all the calories. But, without a doubt my biggest challenge has been portion control. I'm used to eating what I want when I want. That's been a terrible habit to get into. This morning I had a peanut butter and jelly sandwich - over 400 calories. That's insane!! Thank you FatSecret, thank you friends and family, thank you anyone out there who is supporting and finding new ways and old successful ways to help me get healthy. You can be overweight and happy, but you can't be healthy and I want to be healthy.
