Went apple picking with my dad today. I got a little more than a bushel of apples, which is A LOT. I've been looking forward to going for a few weeks and they just came into season. It will be apple everything for a while and I am thrilled.
Starting another challenge here on fatsecret so I will be updating my weight more often. I already weight myself daily and record it on fitbit, but for challenges I like to have it here too.
feeling pretty good lately, running out of clothing so I picked up a few shirts from Goodwill. For an idea of my changing size...
Starting: shirt - 4x/5x pants - 32
Current: shirt - Xl/L pants - 18/20
I have got to say that it is so much easier to find clothing at this point, not to mention cheaper.
after a lot of debating I did decide to change my calorie goals. when I first started things I went to 1,800 and dropped 100 calories every month until I got to 1,500 calories which is where I am today. loss has still been very regular at that amount, however the problem has been that I've had a hard time getting to that many calories most days. probably 70 to 80% of my calories come from fruits vegetables and beans and the rest from various carbs breads etc. I really like how that has been working for me but the problem is that I have to eat a large amount of food to get enough calories in and sometimes there isn't the time or the physical room to eat that much. for the last month or so I have been doing more nuts and ice cream and processed stuff that I would normally have in lesser quantities because it gets me more calories. Most days I can get to 1,300 pretty easily but that is entirely too low so I am thinking 1,400 should work out pretty well. I am open to suggestions or ideas if anyone has any.
I hope everyone has a great start to this week!
