I think it's good to acknowledge that this diet does involve more work. Convenience foods are called "convenience" for a reason. They don't take as much thought or time out of our lives. It's also important to realize that the work isn't horrific--it's just something else you need to remember to do. And there are pre-packaged foods that do meet the requirements. We just need to read labels carefully. BTW, my hubby cut veggies for me last night so I am making progress! I'm getting their cold (about a week behind the last person) and he maybe he felt for me.

I actually added 1 fruit and 1 starch/grain on Tuesday and stayed there yesterday. I did have the starch/grain in the morning (1/2 double fiber english muffin). No problems with having it earlier. I left the fruit for dinner time. Oh, and I had sugar free pudding last night because my daughter made it for me but I had only 1/2 a cup of milk. She wanted to make me something since I did eat the cheesecake she made for Mother's day.
My blood sugar was a little high this morning (114). I think that's more of a indication that I'm getting sick than anything.
