The calorie breakdown at the bottom of the food entry page caught my eye today for the 1st time. It has a calorie % breakdown form protien, carbohydrates and fats. As I was looking through for something it accored to me my fat % has been as low as 26% and as high as 43%. I decided to look through all of the days since I started this whole thing 8 days ago and have discovered my average fat % has been 32.8% 1/3 of the little pie chart! WOW! For some reason that is a bit of a shock to me and I am going to make it my goal this next week to get most of my calories from protein and carbohydrates rather than from fats. When I go shopping this weekend to restock my kitchen I am going to be more cautious about purchasing fat free and low fat items. I am starting to learn more about what I have been so willing to put into my body that really isn't good for me. I am hoping I can reach my target weight and become more healthy. That is my goal this year.
