Okay, well, slight change of plans. I joined Weight Watchers with my sisters last friday. My starting weight at my weigh in was exactly 170 lbs (which actually makes me want to cry...seriously.) I will be going to the meetings and weighing in every friday.
I have not been very good about journaling and keeping track of all of my food intake though yet, but have been loosely following the points plan. Now that I have the hang of it, I am committing to tracking everything. I will check in here on friday and record my new weight (which had BETTER be lower! lol)

If you work the plan, the plan will work. Tracking your points is very important. It is so easy to overeat with all the little bites, licks and tastes of things throughout the day. Make sure you eat your daily points every day. Cutting them down will not necessarily make you lose more, it can even make you gain. Don't be afraid to use some of the flex points. The more you eat while losing, the more you can eat to maintain. Good luck! I hope you do well at weigh-in.

You can do it Chelli!! Ug...it's not easy...I still have 15lbs or so to go...but it can be accomplished :D My thing is excercising more right now. I keep telling myself 'MOVE THAT ASS' lol.

Thanks for the encouragement ladies! I'm excited about this, and about getting back into shape. I've been carrying around this extra weight for a year and a half now...time to seriously stick with this and make a change! :-)
