That's a hell of a transformation. I like that you push the envelope here and there on the app too. Everyone has a different approach to advice given. I think you use the no non-sense version which ruffles some feathers. But ultimately I think you're trying to help others. Keep at it!

Thanks, all. Joe…you got it. I’m not here to tiptoe around facts. Why wouldn’t I advocate practices that have obviously worked? I haven’t had a doughnut or a slice of pizza since before July 6th. Prior to July 6 I would put away a six pack of beer every night and top it off with some whiskey. I haven’t had more than six beers total since then…and no beer at all since early October. When I have bread it’s 100% whole wheat…no white bread since before July 6. No soda since before July 6th. Six to seven servings of vegetables per day. Lean protein. Less than 40g of sugar almost every damn day since before July 6. Any wonder why I ruffle some feathers when people cheat? They’re not cheating me…they’re cheating themselves. If you’re serious then get to work…if you’re not maybe Candy Crush is the app for you. 🤷🏻♂️

For sure I agree with most of what you said. We just have to be vigilant that there's obviously several ways to accomplish goals. Not everyone will adhere to the way you or I do things. That's fine I just try to help when asked. Or if I think I can improve what someone is doing. But I'm still learning as well. But you're right it is sad when you see people cheating themselves on here everyday. Whether it be the food choice it's self or portion size. Finding out how to be healthier and lose weight isn't the hard part. Taking what you've learned and implementing it is. The ones who want to improve will. Those who want to make excuses will do the same.

HK, you've done very well over the last several months, and have much to be proud of. But I do find your judgment rather harsh. If healthy eating and weight loss were easy, there wouldn't be so many people on this site, and millions more spending billions of dollars each year, trying to do better. So, pat yourself on the back, but don't judge others until you walk in their shoes; the physical and emotional baggage that people are burdened with are not always visible to others my friend. 🎄

HK3, ur post...speak ur truth on ur journey. Agree with Joe's opinion as well...those who take knowledge & implement mindfully will ultimately get to their goal & success🤙🏼
