This is 2 tamales=210 cal. Stuffed baby bella's 120 cal. 1/2 cup steamed green cabbage (no seasonings other than a little salt) 45 cal. And 1oz pork and venison sausage 85 calories.
This is a BIG meal for me.
I keep my meals under 250 each so that I can eat several times a day because that's what I like to do. Doing that also affords me the ability to have a candy bar, or a small bag of chips, or any small snack really, without pushing my daily cal limit of 1500. Aside from Thanksgiving week, I usually end up with less than 1500 daily, and eating often really helps!
But for today, after several days of helping someone pack and move, I was famished!!! So big dinner it is ❤️ *buuuuurp*

I try to do the very same - tried 6 meals @ 166 calories - that worked for a month but found that I was eating constantly --- then the 5 meals @ 220 calories each --- I have no reason to feel hunger - and that does work for me too. It appears that I have a "huge" breakfast but in reality - I have 2 or 3 small breakfasts. Tinier portions and lessor calories to digest and process and negates hunger and over feeding. It does so work.

It also works to shrink the stomach back to normal - since the stomach is only the size of a person's fist.

Looks very very yummy. I also try to eat small portions, relatively often. I just make sure I stop eating by 6pm
