Me too - been flogging the same 5 pounds or so since the end of August. Frustrating - but at least we aren’t gaining 🙂

Both of you keep at it.. It will go down. As long as you are not giving in too it and giving up... That's the key. keep up the good work.

It's been that way for me too for a while, but if we hang in there we'll see changes eventually. I believe the key is to keep working at what's the healthier choices, because we must learn this in order to keep it off once we arrive at our final destination or goals. We can't go back to how we used to eat. But "Tis the the Christmas season", 🎄 you say. I think it's ok to splurge occasionally, but get back on our skinny wagons right after we splurge on a few Xmas meals. And cutting back in other areas. We've got this! We can do this!

If you reach a plateau, try and do one small thing differently. Example, do a few sit-ups during the commercials of your favorite 1hr evening show. It confuses the body and the weight loss should resume in a few days. It doesn't have to be sit-ups, work on the one part of your body you want to see improvement on.

usually when I plateau it means I need to cut calories more.

On the plus side … we’ve got the “maintenance” part - once we get there - already figured out! 😁

upping your calories may help. Seems counter intuitive, but if you're not eating enough, your body's metabolism will slow down as it believes you are in a period of starvation (this is a biological thing going back to hunting and gathering days as it kept us alive in starvation periods). Even doing this for a few days could be helpful before returning to your normal amount.
