Another day, another opportunity to be the best me I can be.
I have another run planned for later today: 4 miles, incl. 4X(1:00 Aerobic Intervals), +6 Gentle Pickups. Then it's a rest day before the 5K race on Saturday. This is just a short, fun run to boost my racing confidence a little before the half-marathon 6 weeks later. I don't have a specific timed goal in mind because I don't know the course and knowing the topography of Northeast Pennsylvania, the course will certainly include at least one or two annoying, time-destroying hills. I'm just shooting for "best effort" and "have fun!". I think those are two great goals.
I'm also shooting for at least 2 hours of study time today. I simply must get through this material if I want a chance to pass these exams! Ugh!

Yes, I am a major science nerd (I have DNA double-helix tattoo around my right bicep, for goodness sake!) and I do have my science background working to my advantage, but when I found out only 56% of people who take this exam pass it on their first try, I got serious! Yikes!
