Well, I'm still losing at a faster rate than I anticipated. I chalked the rapid early loss up to water weight, but if my average doesn't slow down a bit I may want to revisit my RDI. I am serious about not wanting to lose it TOO fast. I've done that before, and down that road lies starvation mode, plateaux and regain.

Also, I just hit a milestone I have never knowingly hit before. Tonight I was craaaavig sweets. I had an apple, and it was beyond delicious. I wasn't feeling myself either. Weak, dizzy, out of sorts. I took my blood sugar and it was 56. I have NEVER had a low blood sugar before that I know of. So, I had to go over the RDI and get a half cup of mountain trail mix in me (The kind that's M&Ms, raisins and peanuts. It was the closest thing to a "sweet" that I had in the house.) That should bump me up, I'll check again in a half hour or so.

Until now, controlling my diabetes has been all about making sure my sugars weren't high, and I assumed I had type 2. Now, I'm wondering. Better report this to the doc manana.
