Remember the pre-winter garden? Finally starting to see food! Totally the wrong time of year. Its almost too close to winter weather to ensure an actual harvest. I was more concerned with fighting the loneliness/depression tho. But, it helped i think. :-)

The good part about it is that next year, spring time, everything is already READY and I will begin again with things that I will actually get a harvest out of 😁❤

Depending on how big your plant is, you can use a clear plastic umbrella as a frost cover. I am trying that for the first time to see if it works.

You can get row covers online or rent it. It'll be tiny but still edible.

I have used an old sheet to cover my plants when an early frost was predicted. Just remember to take it off in the morning as it can weight the plant down.
