I'm moving in the wrong direction and I'm pretty frustrated about it! But I'm staying on the bandwagon and that's all that matters. The more you work out, the more sore your muscles get. It's not that you're building muscle, it's that what you have is working harder and holding on to the water you take in to cleanse out those sore muscles. When you lift, or push yourself really hard, take a lower-key day or a day off the next day. That way your body can recooperate. I am learning this the hard way, too, and you just have to make a gradual difference. Eat well, follow your diet EXACTLY for at least two days and I bet you'll see the difference.

it's ok to have those pick-me-up-and-dust-me-off days...i think it makes us appreciate the 'gooder' days!
