Thx Bandrai ... GOOGLE the recipe from "SIMPLY Carbonnade Beef and Beer Stew" and you'll have something very close with following subs - Oatmeal Stout not Belgian Ale; dried plums, dried cherries, sundried tomatoes not sugar; parsley not bay leaves; lamb not beef. added root veggies with 2 hrs left; added some smoked hot cherry pepper/cayenne. Why all the subs you ask? Cause I could and it's what we had in the pantry/fridge.

Thx RM ❣️I've developed a few goto plating patterns but taste is alwsys #1. I like pops of contrasting colors with chopped parsley being the easiest ad we have several patches growing at our place. For this meal, the feta mimicks the dappled light like a Renoir psinting.
