My fasting blood sugars continue to be too high. 6.9 (124 in the US) this AM. Not hugely high, just too high.

Since my after meal readings are fine, it's not a function of my eating at this point. This pattern is called the Dawn Effect, and the answer may be some long acting insulin at bedtime. We'll see what the doc says in a couple of weeks.

In the meantime, I will try to get the 10,000 steps in and see if that makes a difference. I have been a lazy bugger.
