I don't understand it. I can't seem to lose. I am still at the initial 6 pounds. I began re-reading the South Beach Diet book yesterday to see if I have missed some big huge step. I've never even left Phase One. Been doing Phase One for nearly one month now. Simply perplexed!

Perhaps too much red meat? Perhaps not enough green leafy veggies? I've got to figure something out. My luck it will be... "Not eating enough eggs!" If that is the case...I may just have to be fat! LOL!

Oh well...I'm in for the long haul.

Looking at your chart, you seem to be doing okay. Sometimes on the weight loss journey we stay the same weight for a week or two. Heck my friend stayed the same for months (but went down 4 sizes). Have you taken your measurements? Do your clothes feel more loose? Sometimes we lose fat and lose inches but the scale doesn't show it yet. Patience and perisistance are two important qualities needed to win the weight loss battle. You have to keep going and it will show eventually. If you only have a small amount to lose, it may take more time too. Good luck!
