I’m loosing at a turtles pace. I know I need to add more activity to see better results. I would love to go for a walk but right now red tide is keeping me in the house. I have access to a small work out room and I’m to need to push myself to use it.

I know what you mean! When my gym closed for covid, I had plenty of weights and things at home to improvise but it was so unmotivating to work out by myself. I ended up finding some exercise videos to do and that was a little more fun but still not super motivating. Good luck!! Slow and steady wins the race. Also- You probably already know this but just standing instead of sitting and moving around more will burn more.

If you aren’t used to routine exercise, it can feel like an uninvited guest. Taking up time and keeping you from getting other things done. So make it a short visit. I did my “coffee walk”, just walking around the house while drinking three of my four cups of coffee. Another was simply lying on the floor on my back, then getting up and standing straight, lying back on the floor and getting up again ten times. It will get your heart rate up more than you think, and it’s quick.

Hang in there. I can't make walking my preferred exercise so I walk in the pool and my body doesn't hurt the next day.
PS I hate Red tide .... I'm at a standstill myself

I felt that way too. Its so hard to have patience but turtle pace is better than not losing, or gaining! Don't get discouraged! Just try to find a way you can eat that you can sustain for the long haul. Don't focus on weight fluctuations because they will happen. It's totally normal. It's the long term results that matter!
