MrsB629's Journal, 28 Feb 11

I have been using a personal journal to keep track of my eating, exercise, and thoughts on my journey to get fit; but this seems more convenient. The only problem I am forseeing is that I often make my own meals and will have trouble keeping track of the calories that way, so I'll have to see how it goes.

I've been doing great with working out lately thanks to handy tools like this website, Cardio Trainer on my Droid, Shape-Ups, and moving to a warmer climate. Working out is so much eaiser when it's almost always beautiful out, instead of when it's snowing 9 months out of the year.

I also have been on a vegan diet for 2 months tomorrow and have noticed a decrease in weight and fat. I wish I would have used a tape measure to measure different parts of my body at the start, but I can definitely see a difference and so can Eric. Still hoping for that sexy beach bod by June!

Lately my body has been feeling ill and exhausted at times and I think mostly in part to caffiene. I don't know why Mountain Dew has a hold on me so. I have cut it out before and been perfectly fine, but the fact that my roommate has it in the house and I look at it every day knowing I can have it makes it harder. I keep ridding myself of caffeine for a few weeks then go right back to it in one moment of weakness. In fact, I am drinking one now. Fail.

Goals:
• Eatmore whole foods (less processed & prepackaged)
• Rid myself of caffiene & soda
• Keep up with challenges (biking, sit ups, etc)
• Kinect workouts 3x a week (once I pick up tomorrow)
