I ended up eating about two small bites of the Double Cheeseburger (plain) that my grandson didn't finish. I counted it as 1/5th of a burger, and it was STILL 90 calories! YIKES! After the pool, my twin friends came over to play with the kids (the twins have been quarantined for the past 10 days), so I didn't eat anything until after they left about 4:30. By then, it was dinnertime. I had a bowl of the Homemade Beef-a-Roni I made yesterday. BUT, when my daughter came to pick up the kids, she brought me a homemade caramel apple, which I ate half of! Only had ONE of the PIM's cookies I got my husband (50 calories) and had ONE Sugar-Free York Peppermint Pattie today (40 calories). Only 247 calories in snacks/desserts - compared to 444 a couple of days ago. Less than 1,500 calories total for today, compared to almost 2,000 yesterday. Making progress, slowly but surely!
P.S., the kids had a great time at the community pool today. My 5-year-old tried to go off the diving board twice, but ended up turning around and walking the other way. On his third attempt, he jumped, and then he just kept on jumping and jumping! I really have to keep an eye on him, because he is pretty fearless and thinks he is invincible. The big pool goes from 3' to 5' in depth. (The "well" where you dive, is 12' deep). He is 47" tall, so I really had to be vigilant and stay IN the water right beside him most of the time so he could go into the deeper part with the other kids.
Thankfully, there was a pretty long period of time when the other kids came to the shallow end and played with him, so I was able to get out of the pool for awhile. Only problem is -- I don't know if the kids will ever want to go into OUR pool again after getting a taste of the giant one! I was able to pull off the surprise, and they didn't know we were going there until we pulled in the driveway. I had told them we were picking up McDonald's and then taking it to this picnic area I found to eat it. They bought it hook, like and sinker. (patting self on back!)
Looking forward to tomorrow's weigh-in. Had a pretty good "emptying out" this morning, which hopefully will make some difference. I'm anxious to get back down below 200, so I can continue on my quest to 165!
