My stomach hurts, really bad. I don't know why. Can a person have a carrot overdose? On one hand it feels like cramps and on the other it feels more intense.
I knew for a long time that I wasn't drinking enough water. I found out that the recommended about was about 2.5 liters a day. I bought a bottle of Fiji water and saw the bottle was exactly 1 liter. I will try to work up to 2 and a half bottles of water a day. When I start increasing my water intake, my visitor comes. I've never been regular and have gone for months without it. Do you think it's possible that the reason I haven't been getting it regularly is due to a lack of water?

I mus tsay that if you are drinking a 1ltr bottle of water you are getting enough. I know the reccomended intake is higher, but people seriously underestimate the amount of liquid we get daily from foods and of course other drinks. If you are eating a lot of carrots - and drinking 1ltr of straight water -I really doubt you have a hydration problem. you sayyour stomachhurts - have you recentlybeen eating a llot more raw food? ( you mention carrots) -If so, your stomach is probably working overtime to digest. I went straight into a raw food diet and it reaked hovoc with my stomach. Ive never heard of drinkin more water to bring on a period - but you never know. Did you have any other symptoms of dehydratrion? Are you aneamic?

I had heard steaming your veggies is better on the digestion... raw is harder on your system especially if you eat them all the time.

I have been making the carrots into a soup, so they have been cooked until mushy and then pureed. I've tested borderline anemic before, yes. I hadn't been drinking any water before just a day or two ago. I thought I wasn't drinking enough water because my urine was strong and dark. Now that I'm drinking water it's gotten lighter and more frequent.

I'm in the same situation, I've heard that if you don't drink enough water it could mess with the cycle, but I have something different, I have PCOS so I've went 1 year without one, I was told if I start losing weight I'll become regular again and hopefully the PCOS will go away.

I checked out the symptoms of PCOS and I think I may have it too. I'm going to try diet and exercise to see if it eases the symptoms before I see a doctor. I don't have insurance so it's not so easy to just "get a check up". I'm really hoping it goes away.
