Losing ItAll's Journal, 13 May 14

I really need to start using this site better. I am starting to lose because I'm going to the gym more often.
I'm in Glasgow in the UK and we have a big push for Type 2 diabetics to do more exercise, lose weight and hopefully come off (or reduce) medications. It's inspired by the fact that Glasgow plays host to the Commonwealth games later this year.

If I see a Celeb lose weight and or do more gym stuff and look great, post baby or whatever, I think "well they can afford a cook or a personal trainer, I can't afford that." BUT I'm trying to take the view that I've been given this opportunity for 6 months of the challenge and I'm getting a lot of support from the challenge but also from friends.

I've had a bad cold though in the last week and I'm waiting till I get better before I go back to the gym. I would normally take this as an opportunity just not to go again. . . . but I'm trying hard to keep motivated.

I'll check in here more often and try and keep motivated that way :-)
