I was completely freaking out for awhile today about my diet--how I can possibly eat enough calories and have the ratio of protein/carbs/fat be right. I finally decided to try to let go of it until I could meet with a dietician or nutritionist. I have had to keep reminding myself that I let go. But today, under 700 calories, a lot of fat, and no one is going to think that's right. I am so worried about doing things that are going to make it even harder on my body, which so wants to be well!
The first place I called did call me back, but I worry that they might be a little conservative or square. I don't think everyone needs exactly the same thing, and I would love to be meeting with someone with experience working with people who have cancer and issues caused by cancer. Let go, let go.
