I can only give you complete sympathy because I recently went through knee replacement surgery. The wait for the pool seemed like forever. Remember, you are a strong person and will do it. You need protein and carbs right now to heal. It's not easy but it does get better!

Sorry about the knee surgery that is terrible. Just focus on your diet, drink lots of water and if you have some smaller weights maybe you could work on some upper body strength? Even just stretching and keeping yourself limber for when you get the all clear to work out again.

So sorry. You can keep your carbs at 20 a day, and it is 80% of what you eat and only 20% exercise. Many people on the Atkins Diet never exercised untill they got close to their goal! You can do this, just put your mind to it and don't look back. Map out a plan--good luck!!
