birthday breakfast this morning made by my family. how can I say no? I'll go easy on the butter and syrup and thank goodness I found a turkey version of the breakfast sausage links. its not the most healthy, but it could be so much worse and it was made by three people with so much love.

sometimes a particular food may not be categorized as "healthy" but there are healthier alternatives... and you found it in the turkey breakfast sausage. Another step in getting healthy. Good for you! And love is the best!!! Happy Birthday!!

Definitely can't say "no." When my family tries to show me the love with food, I ask for more fruit and less pancakes :-) Happy birthday!

Thank you, thank you!!! My birthday is actually tomorrow, but since tomorrow is a work and school day, the hubby and the kids made a special breakfast for me this morning. They made my french toast with whole grain bread, rather than white bread and we used turkey sausage instead of regular sausage. Then we all went to the park and played and enjoyed the beautiful weather for a couple of hours. All in all, it has been a great day, a celebratory day, and still, I would consider, a healthy day.
