So frustrated! I've been walking on my treadmill daily for months now. But somehow I've pulled something in my back so I didn't walk yesterday to give it a day to rest. Today is just as painful, feels like a pulled muscle but it hurts constantly - not just with movement.
No idea how I pulled the back. I lifted some heavy boxes on Monday but the pain didn't hit until Tuesday afternoon so not sure if that did it or something else.
I am sticking to calorie counting but I actually felt like I was letting myself down by not walking. I will see how I feel after work today and either do a very slow, light walk or take another day off. I won't want to make things worse!
On a positive note: It is good I feel bad missing my workout because 3 months ago I would have jumped all over an excuse to take a day off!

Good on you for not pushing it - nothing like a painful injury to make one give up all together. Take it slow and ease back into it.

It is frustrating once you start getting in there and feeling like you are taking on the world to get set back! Just keep in mind that eventually you'll be back at it.

Not kidney stones for sure. It is higher on the back just under the bra line. Kidney stones would be lower but great suggestion! My boss was in the ER for those yesterday! Epsom salts is a good idea. I do have a hot tub and my daughter said for me to use a foam roller. Hope it feels better soon so I can get back on track. According to my daughter it was most likely my lifting those darn heavy boxes. Thanks for the support!

Ice, ice, ice. I know how you feel. The epsom salts do work and help you sleep and so does the ice. Good luck!

if you have a history of picking up something heavy suddenly, it could be a vertebral disc problem . Please do not neglect. Go to the doctor immediately
