Multiplicity1's Journal, 06 Feb 11

Well I am still struggling with my food because I have been overdoing the macadamias and the sugar free taffy and the snack bars and my diet drinks. As of today everything will be dropped from my food plan but my sodas. I have about a six pack left to drink then I am quitting the soda too. I am going to start exercising again beginning tomorrow (maybe tonight if I can get motivated enough).
I am feeling stressed about my husband's health and my sister being back in the mental hospital. Mostly I am stressed about being off my food plan and gaining weight. I am doing much better with the vegetables (eating my salads again). I am learning what I need to stay away from a little at a time. I can still drink the shakes without a problem. After I get off the computer I am going to make some menu plans to stay on track. Now I am going to post on my buddies journals. Have a great night!

Andrea, I know how much stress you have been under in recent months. your plan sounds solid, just try to get it back on track and under control. I know you can. I am still praying for you, your husband, and your sister. Hugs!!

Hi Andrea, you are going through tough times. I know you have support groups you go to and hope they help. Its no wonder you overeat with all the stress in your life and it probably won't help to say that the only thing you can control right now, the only thing, is what you put in your mouth, and, that what you put in your mouth will also add to your stress because if you overeat and stray off plan, you add one more stressor to your life. I do hope that your husband gets some answers soon, and that your sister gets some relief. Mental illness is very, very difficult to combat. Holding you in my thoughts and in my heart. Glad your puppy at least is a source of joy.
